Nomination Information for Schools

All Missouri high schools should receive an informational call letter by mid-September. If your school does not receive a letter or you need to update your school contact information, click here

Each Missouri high school is allowed to nominate one (1) current sophomore student to attend the 2012 Missouri Leadership Seminar (MLS). For more information regarding MLS, please visit our "Home" page.

Important Dates for the 2012 MLS:

    *  October 1, 2011: Nominations Open
    *  March 15, 2012: Nominations Close
    *  April 1, 2012: Student Registration Deadline
    *  June 8-10, 2012: Missouri Leadership Seminar at UCM in Warrensburg

Space is limited, so nominate early to ensure that your school is represented. We will make every attempt to make room and accommodate each school and accept nominations after March 15th, 2012 should you need additional time. Please contact us via email to request an extension for your school.

NOMINATION PROCESS

All nominated students are automatically accepted upon completing online registration.

To complete the Nomination and Registration process, follow these simple steps:

1. Select an outstanding current sophomore student from your school:

2. Nominate your student online:

Please note that schools are no longer required to use a school ID or password.

Should you need to change your nomination, please complete another online nomination form and contact missourileadership@yahoo.com.

3. Nomination Confirmation and the 2012 MLS Information Packet:

The Nomination Confirmation and the Information Packet will be emailed to the school contact who nominated the student and will also be available below. Emails are sent on Fridays to the schools that nominated that week. The school contact is responsible for informing the student of the nomination and giving the packet to the nominated student.

4. The nominated student must complete the online Registration Form:

The 2012 MLS Registration Form must be completed online by April 1, 2012. Full Registration instructions will be provided in the Information Packet and on the Student & Parents page.
